Generac 6001 LP5500 5,500 Watt 389cc OHV Portable Liquid Propane Powered Generator with Tank Holder (CARB Compliant)

I was excited to finally receive this product as it was on back-order for a few months. Some assembly was required (i.e. have to put the back wheels on and front rubber feet) This is a two person job as this thing is *HEAVY*. After putting the oil in and hooking up the propane tank, the generator started easily as per the instructions. I hooked up some loads to it and they powered with no issue. I will come back and down grade this review if I find issue during an extended outage.. hopefully that will not be the case, but as I live in Florida one never knows. It seems very well built and hopefully with the proper care will last a lifetime. I love the fact that it is powered by propane and not gasoline after seeing all those poor folks after Sandy desperate for the latter. I can easily store multiple propane tanks in my shed without it going bad, and it will be there when I need it. It runs quieter than I thought.
