Generac 5747 XG8000E 8,000 Watt 410cc OHVI Gas Powered Portable Generator with Wheel Kit And Electric Start

Wow! More than expected with amazing attention to detail. It seems like Generac spend a great deal of time getting the details of this generator right. For example, the wheels attach without any tools needed, the whole unit is packed in a way to make final assembly super easy, the starter cable is zip tied up ready to be connected to the starter, a clear quick start guide is taped on the gas tank, there is an oil drain tube that makes oil changes crazy easy, and it even includes a spark plug wrench when it is time to change the plug after 200 hours. They also include a full service kit (air and oil filters, spark plug, etc) that covers a total of 400 hours of run time. Even the battery is shipped fully charged! Oh, and the unit started the first time in less than one second and ran strong and solid. Overall, this unit offers much more than others at the same price. My only critical comment is that it is loud but it is a big engine and a big genset so that was not unexpected and it was no louder than my smaller Subaru unit.
