Looked around for some time before deciding on this one. Had the most for the least money. Electric start was important as my wife may be the one to turn it on. 30 amp outlet should provide enough current to power most all the times needed in the home. Not the first Briggs product, we own a 12 HP B&S Coleman generator for 10 years. It took us through Katrina and is still running strong. Giving it to a family member. I like the fuel gauge, metal tank and ease of starting since I had chest surgery which makes pulling the rope difficult. I have not tried pulling on this 21HP model, but the 12HP unit was easy.
